Flying, fun and friendship... thats PEMAC!

Hobbyking Aussie BBQ Fly-In at PEMAC

Building and flying model aircraft is a great hobby activity for both the young and the young at heart and its even better when you share the experience with others.  PEMAC is a great place to learn about our wonderful hobby and at the same time make and enjoy the company of new friends.

We welcome new members and they are made to feel right at home from their first day.  We hold regular social events including bbq's, dinners and a trivia night at various times throughout the year and family and friends of members are always welcome to attend.

ABOUT PEMAC

PEMAC is an "electric only"  radio control model aircraft club nestled between the magnificent Nepean River and the beautiful  Blue Mountains in western Sydney.

With the assistance of Penrith City Council   together with State  and Federal Government support, we have developed the area into an attractive and  dedicated model aero park.

We now have over 120 members making us one of the largest model aero clubs in Sydney and the largest electric only model flying club in Australia.

AMAS and  MAAA

members as well as

members of the public

are always welcome,

just call us to arrange

a day and time to visit.

A SAFE PLACE TO FLY

Hart Field  has been constructed to provide the safest possible environment to fly model aircraft.

We have a dedicated pilot box, safety fencing and a pits area with four battery connection and testing benches.

Safety is our priority and all flying is governed by our club safety rules and by Civil Aviation Safety Authority regulations.

We also have qualified instructors and all of our members are insured through our peak national body, the Australian Miniature Aerosport Society.  To find out more about the Australian Miniature Aerosport Society just click the logo below.

WHY ELECTRIC?

Electric powered model aircraft are the growth area in radio controlled model flight.

They are very affordable to purchase, cost little to operate and are much cleaner and quieter than traditional fuel (nitro) powered model aircraft.

Almost any flying model aircraft can now be powered by an electric motor and the variety of models available commercially just keeps growing every year.

At PEMAC our members fly a range of models from the Red Barron's Fokker  through to gliders, Spitfires, Huey helicopters and even FA-18s.

So if you are interested in model flight, electric powered models are certainly worth considering.  Why not visit us and find out more.
